Elastic Cord for Boots

OK, this may seem odd but while in the service in the mid '60's we used elastic cords to what we then called "blousing" our pants over our boots. I don't know if this is still done. I would like to buy those short elastic cords with hooks on each end. I don't know what they are called let alone where to buy them. Any ideas guys?

Check with a military person that can go in a PX and buy things We used to be able to get things like that at the px at Camp Perry but then they changed the rules civilians could buy some things but nothing Military I still have atwo pair of what you want but they are worn badly I use them in the woods spring & summer Ticks and chiggers cant get by them

We called them - Blousing Straps. Think they cost around $2.00 a pair in Military Clothing Sales at the BX.

Thanks for the replies guys. I should have offered more info. After too many years I'm getting around to putting my rifles in a tagged Midway sock. Some have been stored that way bun none have an I.D. tag. Many of the shorted ones have 6-12 inches of sock empty. My thought is to fold the back up the stock and secure the extra with an elastic band. All I could think of what I now know are called blousing bands. Another thing is that I'll need 30+ of them.

Thanks again guys. The links look good especially the outfit in TX. Velcro is a thought and maybe I can find strips on eBay. Interesting thought 83, but the ones I have here at home are too large to fit an AR-15 butt stock.
