Yesterday my sister and I decided to put on this mask I had and scare my dogs. I can tell you know that I'm sober and thinking straight that this was a bad idea. Very bad idea.
My little Yorkie-poo, he so cute btw, ran when I came in the door, but once he got over the initial shock he came after me. I couldn't turn my back on him or he would try to bite me I had to look at him face to face or would charge at me.
It took me forever to get the mask off and there was a second in there where I was blind from taking it off. Even after I got the mask off he still try to get me. I had to finally yell at him with the mask off before he claimed down.
The whole time he's time he's trying to get me my sister is encouraging him too.
Being drunk and thinking this turned out so well we decided to scare my big dogs. A chow-chow, a aussie, and a siberian husky, but we decided to do it though the screen door. It was my sister's turn.
The husky got the most serious look on her face and walked to the door and started to growl she wasn't scared at all then my aussie came to the door, but a completely different reaction, she wagged her tail and wanted to play. When my chow made it to the dog and started to growl that started my ausse to growling then all hell broke loose and they tried to come though the door my sister took off running and that made it worst.
Whey wouldn't quit trying to come in. I had to finally let them and they ran though the house looking for the "threat." I told my sister to put the mask back on and run outside, but she wouldn't. I had to finally start grabbing each one and claiming them down.
Putting the mask on was a bad idea, but it's nice to know I have dogs what will come to my rescue.
If you want home security get some dogs.

Any post that starts with, "I can tell you know (sic) that I'm sober and thinking straight that this was a bad idea. Very bad idea.",is bound to be entertaining. But I also got some good, useful information about my dog's potential, as well.
They have put people back in their car when we aren't here. Same people come back another time and the dogs go out wagging their tails. Go figure.
Dogs are usually a great deterrent to crime...
IMO the perfect combination is a little dog and a big dog. A watch dog and a guard dog. Sometimes guard dogs will not pick up the stuff that a little yippie chiuawua (sp) will. The little watch dog will alert the big guard dog and it can make for the perfect home security system, just add food and water.
And at least 3 walks a week.

That's quite possibly the cutest Chihuahua I've ever seen. And usually I think they're butt-ugly.
jack russel terrier best watch dog i ever had.
russels can get down right violent. [8D]
Thats a Min Pin
Those min pins make meth-heads look mellow.
My brother had one and used it to practice kicking extra points...

Couldn't you just get a medium-sized dog and save money?

Yer gonna catch hell for that one...[:D]
My short haired Siberian alligator, Foo Foo, protects us pretty well too. He's great at rolling over and fetching a stick from the water. Can't seem to house break him though.
Looks like one of those tit biting breeds.
My Australian Cattle dog, though still just a pup, will growl when strangers walk up into the yard or house.

You can try to camouflage or sugarcoat it any way you like, but she's a shepherd, a sheep dog.
If you ever let her out unsupervised, you'll probably find her dancing with sheep.

Well, my dog did come home in a new Hummer the other day...
jimdeere, do your Aussies tolerate other dogs? Mine hates dogs with a purple passion. First dog I ever had who just wouldn't tolerate another dog anywhere, anytime, under any circumstances.
James, what few times there's been other dogs come here, they didn't like it, but they didn't try to fight. They are very jelous of each other, though. You have to pet one with one hand and the other with the other hand.
What else did you and your sister do while you were drunk? [;)][}:)][:0]
