Just got my new laser bore sight kit in, cant wait to see how it works

Got a few rifles around with scopes on them that have never been set.

I will let ya know how it does.

It also doubles as a laser sight.....

Just finished sighting the scope on my .300 savage. No wonder I couldnt hit the barn door. it was a quarter inch out.

It is an NC-LBS 1 laser bore sighter.. works great.

Classic, I would like to hear what you say after testing a few rifles at the range that have bee sighted with the laser sighter. Have considered getting one, but have not heard anything to convince me they are better than my columator.

I wonder if it won't be better for no other reason than sliding a piece of metal down into the rifling of a new barrel! Kind of makes me cringe!! GHD

Guys, these things work great. Try one with a red dot scope. It doesn't matter how many beers you have had. There is no reason to keep the rifle on a shooting rest. The laser moves with the red dot just tune it in. As for barrel damage, well if a aluminum tube is going to damage my bore, I bought the wrong piece!

I sighted the new 22-250 by looking thru the bore(bolt action only) at 25 yds. then setting the shot 1" below this. At 100 yds, I hit target 6" above, then finished with very tight groups- of which I'm trying to find the best load yet. If it's a bolt- it's easy- if not it a pain without some help- like a bore sighter. This is the best part of shootin- the precise sighting- I think it's more fun than anything- other than showing the shots!!- Good Luck!
?When your done- can I have it?

Yeah GHD, You are right. I didn't think about those. With mine though, it's a pretty simple job. No hard metal. Sure, you have to sight for one range, but we do that anyway. Also, for $100., I didn't expect too much. I was surprised that I can shine that puppy on a power pole 200 yds away at night. I just wish that I had a few more adapters for other cals. All in all, a good investment.

Should I send my guns to you, or would you prefer to send the bore sight to me for a few weeks, LOL.

    Charlie,

Just send them all. I'll get them back to you just as soon as I can! Kidding aside, this laser is a valuable tool in my opinion.
