Good thing I'm not a betting man. 6 months ago I would have bet that this would be as bad as it gets. No so. Anyone think that in the next week they will take the gloves off?

I only put this in GD because I felt it wasn't at all partisan.

    Really nasty here in SD really makes you want to vote for any of them......thinking if i ever meet any of them,,,,I gonna slap a dog terd out of them [:D]

    ...It's the American way, politics thru advertising, marketing, and Madison Avenue....think this is tough? A few harmless words being thrown around....

    ...how would you like to run for office in some of these third world countries where the guy with the most bombs and ammo wins!

    Can't agree more, Rembrandt. Advertizing, marketing, and Madison Ave. That's why 20 years ago when there was this push for everyone to vote I said "everyone" has no business voting. My reasoning was that the average man doesn't have the time or even desire to independently investigate the candidates. All the average Joe knows is what is fed to him in print and on TV - hardly an objective group. My feeling is that the guy that wins has the best public relations team!
