Hamas says it's developing rocket New York-AP -- An anti-Israeli militant group says it's developing a rocket with a range long enough to hit cities in the Jewish state.A Hamas (hah-MAHS') leader, Moussa Abu Marzook, tells C-B-S's "60 Minutes" the rocket would have a range of six miles, and would be able to hit Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem from inside the West Bank.C-B-S says the interview will air Sunday. Abu Marzook was interviewed in Beirut two weeks ago.Hamas is responsible for dozens of attacks, including suicide bombings in Israel, killing dozens of Israelis and wounding hundreds during 16 months of Palestinian-Israeli violence.Israeli military sources say Israel is aware of attempts by militant groups to develop weapons that can strike inside Israel.

    LOL I saw that cartoon, too. It hangs over my desk.I dont think Hamas has the brainpower to develop any sort of a missile. Too bad they refused that free schooling, eh?But if they do start lobbing missiles, it'll prove to many people that they dont care about "the suffering of the Palestinian people". They just want to up the ante until there's nothing left but ashes. Hopefully Israel will smash them to bits before it gets to that point.Update: New suicide bombing in Israel today. None dead so far, 14 wounded.

    Hamas and the rest of those idiots are so damn lucky that the US & others are holding the Israelis back. One of these days some fanatic is going to do something as egregious as the 9-11 attacks & Israel will say **** you to the world & do what they would have done in '67 or '73 if it had not been for Western pressure. These terrorists and rogue states don't understand that they've lost their 'most favored nation status' with the former USSR because of Chechnya, etc. Nor do they seem to realize that OBL drastically reduced the tolerance for their fanaticism amonst the civilized nations of the world. They keep pushing for their jihad and they will get it, but the results will not be what they expect. The sad thing is that there are so many innocent folks throughout the Arab & Islamic world that will die or suffer because of that crazy BS.

    I've been saying for years that if one of those scudd missles would have hit any large city in Israel, the US would never have fired a shot in the Gulf War.
