OK, be honest gentlemen and ladies, how many times did you check to see if GB was back on line over the past couple of days....I will admit to at least 20. Guess I am addicted...

    I heard the forums were still open for some time,but since I have the auctions bookmarked there was no way in (that I know of).To be "honest" ,this place is like a complaisant marraige,sexy and alluring at first,now....not as attractive but more comfortable.Some of you are like siblings,bickering and poking fun at each other,wanting what the other has.Arguing for the sake of arguing.Others like to dominate or try to here (I wonder how much control they have in their lives).I look in here and other auctions sites (gasp!) a couple times a day.Because I'm off work for 2-3 months I have spent more time here than normal.But a junkie?I'd miss some of the people I've met here,but if the forums dried up and blew away,I wouldn't look back,for in the end,words and emotions are fleeting in the cyber world...........................................Wait!I'm starting to sound like Judge Dread! I guess this was not meant to be a serious question.Might miss this place just a wee bit though...............................

    I admit it, I panicked. I even E-mailed Nunn. Not only that, but, when the site was back up and I got on, my wife walked in and said, "Oh, great there goes the rest of the weekend."Now whattya suppose she meant by that?

    No less than 20 times a day and bugged the heck out of Mrs. Gunpaq to check when she was on line. If not up today would have to look into getting therapy to handle the withdraw.

    Here's the big question. Did anyone resort to "the other guys" to satisfy their cravings? I spent most of my gun-related surfing on sites that offer upgrades and accessories to my new plastic gun. I don't feel bad about mentioning it because it is merely another discussion forum and will not have any ramifications upon the financial status of GB, but I did spend quite a bit of time reading posts on iowawhitetail.com.

    My wife was happy, and so was my buddy, I helped him put up some fence, 1/4 mile of it.I got a lot done, would have gotten more done if I hadnt kept checking. I had to go to an AA meeting, and I think you know what I mean, it helped but you know, its not the same. Then I ran into a friend at TFF who made mention of the address for the forums, cause I only had the home page book marked like all of you. That helped a lot, but no one was here, so, not that much actually. If it had been down much longer I probably would have found another site that is better that none of us know about, maybe next time. I got my new Cabella's 2002 Shooting catalog and my new Sportsman's Guide this Friday, so life wasnt too bad.
