A Peaceful Easy Feeling in a Surreal World

I got on the web tonight and for the first time, I saw no Pinkos or Liberals spouting off at the mouth. Not a single one at the Los Angeles Times, Yahoo, or the New York Times. It was like walking down Broadway in an empty city.
It reminds me so much of the joy of 1980 when Ronald Reagan took the presidency away from the former Worst President in United States History. It really was a landslide election.

The hostages came home from Iran, we got a 600 ship Navy, Star Wars (the SDI) took shape, the Soviet Union dissolved and changed the whole complexion of the world.
There is a photo of President Reagan taking a swing at the Berlin Wall. His speech at the Brandenberg Gates in Berlin was as great as any given by an American President.

I guess I'm just overjoyed that the kids now will see something for the first time that I haven't seen since 1988 and that is a good American President. Reagan was the last nationalist. Bush(s), Clinton, Obama were all internationalists and NWO types. Having an American at the helm for Americans is a wonderful thing to see and experience.

The scenarios that are possible are just about endless in the coming four years, but most are good. With Russian cooperation, I see Muslim terrorism being curtailed sharply. I see a balance of trade restored and the job market getting better. I see American confidence and domestic tranquility returning.

Whatever you see as your higher power, it wouldn't hurt to say "Thanks" for bringing our country back into the light.

I said "Thank You!" to my Higher Power about 100 times on election night - and at least once every day since. :) I've heard it said that even Trump didn't think he was going to win, so I consider election night to be nothing less than a miracle from God.

    I agree with you totally.

With Trump and the Reps being totally in charge now (thanks to Harry Reid introducing the "Nuclear Option" three years ago against the Reps,) I believe that if they work together and do things right, they can reverse the last 60 or more years of leftist takeover of American society.

Changing SCOTUS will start things off nicely (T should be able to make it at least 6-3, and possibly 7-2,) and then Congress and T can jumpstart the economy, put education back into the hands of parents, strengthen our military - and SO much more.

Like you, I'm very excited about the future for America. I was VERY fearful before the election - now I'm superCHARGED!

I hope he gets something done. But I'll have to see it first to believe it.

Agree the fact that we now have a real American president with American interest at the top of the list is very encouraging.
President Trump is already sending hard balls to the libtards just by his cabinet appointment choices.
We have to fight so we can run away.

Unfortunately, you can't count Justice John Roberts as a conservative vote. He proved what he is when he gave the deciding vote on the constitutionality of Obamacare. Appointed by non-other than G.W. Bush.

Agree 100% but bear in mind that Roberts is a wuzzz and goes with the breeze and wont have the balls to pull stunts like that one with republicans in power.

Too early for a "peaceful easy feeling," but I am hopeful.

Trump is off to a good start so far with his appointments. IMHO.

He is on his way to surrounding himself, with quality people. As I said, I am hopeful, for the first time, in a long time.
