I have noticed a few way over priced Items, where do they get their prices?

I was looking for a specific magazine, which was listed for 43.00.

I found the same mag for 15.00, Whats going on.????

I've asked myself that millions of times. I guess there's a lot of people out there who don't mind sitting on items for as long as it takes. Is it really still a profit after that long? Don't know.

Sounds like your dealing with my local hardware store, their over priced on everything they have.

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

The high prices stem from people who either have no clue or are fishing for folks who are naive. I've seen several of both types in my speciality. Of the two sites I monitor closely, they seem more common here in that particular niche, possibly even a majority.

22 you missed the small print on the micro chip. The thing is gold lined under the grips. I know what you mean. I see things way over priced as well and just wonder, "Who would pay that when you can get them at... for........."

A local Pawn Shop had one of those on the display over a couple of years ago with a sign saying "Rare $400". Not more than a foot away there was another one exactly like it with a sign saying "Rare $400". Funny, if he was trying to make people think that they were THAT rare, maybe he shouldn't have been displaying two of them at the same time. They weren't as cheap then as they are now, but you could still go 1 1/2 miles to the gun store in the same town and buy one for under $140 back then.
