Has anyone been doing any loading for this round [B)]
I just picked up a set of RCBS dies for my 500 , but can't find any data for 460 gr lead bullet with a gas check on em [:(]
Got 50 of em for $16.oo [:p] I have win 296 and H-110 powder , but will get something else if I need to [:)]
Lot cheaper to roll your own then buying factory load .
    cor-bon with the barnes "X" bullets cost $38.oo for 12 rounds [:0]
    Thats nuts[:0][B)][:0]

I was loading up 38 grains of H-110 with 440 grain gas checks. Try taking off 2 grains to account for your heavier bullet and have fun![:D]

I haven't tried it, but Accurate lists 30.0 grains of 5744 as a starting load, and 34.0 grains as max for a 440 grain LFN (@1200 fps). These are compressed loads. Accurate also lists 33.5 grains of 4100 as a starting load, and 37.2 grains as max for a 400 grain JSP (@1633 fps).

You've probably already seen Hodgdon's listings, but for the Sierra 400 grain JSP, they list maximum loads for the following:
    H4227 39.5 grains @1698 fps
    H110 40.0 grains @1721 fps
    Lil'Gun 37.0 grains @1725 fps
    Longshot 22.0 grains @1458 fps
    Titegroup 17.5 grains @1335 fps

Don't know if this helps you at all!?
