Anyone here fimiliar with the above rifle being sold in this month's American Rifleman Magazine? They are selling them for $295.00 as *new*, but claim they have been stored for over 50 years. The web site is: www.MitchellSales.com The rifles are NRA Collector grade and come with all accessories, including sling; cleaning kit; magazine pouch; bayonet and case, and more. I don't want to sound like I'm selling them, just asking for your advise, lol. Thanks in advance.

Check out www.aimsurplus.com or auctions bu "underdog", he's been selling some quality M-48's. Might look at a local gun shop, saw one here looked brand new for about $225. $295 seems kind of high but they are sure fun to shoot (loud too).
