Colt or S&W preference, why, or why not??

Since my last post regarding Colt vs. S&W revolvers was a repeat of Montjoe's thread, I'll ask it in a different way.. What brand do you prefer, and why?? I prefer S&W over Colt because every Colt that I've ever picked up seemed to have a grip/trigger angle that felt uncomfortable to me. I also think that the S&W's have a nicer trigger.....Flame on boys!!

It seems more ergonomic to push the cylinder release than to pull on it.
I like the overall feel, the weight, the grip. I like the trigger pull.
I also trade out the stocks with either Hogue or pacmyr
I prefer the Dan Wesson.[:)][:)][:)]
Yep, Dan Wesson. It surpasses both of them in Quality
First pistol my Grandfather let me hold was a Colt 1903 .32 auto. I still have it.
It was his Newark PD motor officer backup piece . I was hooked.
Colt here but have a few other brands too.

S&W fan all the way. mjrfd99, my neighbor tried to sell me his fathers service revolver last year. It was from the Newark PD. It was a 38 special. As much as I wanted to toss it into my collection, I told him to not sell it, as it was the only memory he had of his pop. He was kinda hesitant also, so I just lead him that way[;)] He was also a detective for the PD. My neighbor has since moved, but I wonder if he ever sold that thing. Zilliox was the detectives last name. Oakie
Only way I'd get another of either is if it were a 45acp Model 1917.
I like 'em all. I have more Smiths than Colts mainly because there was a larger variety of models made in Springfield than there were from Hartford.
I confess that the Target stock design of a 1950s N frame S&W really feels great to me. I also like the early Colt Target stocks with full checkering but the S&W style is a bit better.
I think Colt does a better nickel finish. And the blue on a Python is beyond any S&W expect possibly the pre-war 357 "Registered Magnum."
I can work with either trigger system. The Colt system takes more practice.
Older Colts had a tapered bore and usually shot lead bullets more accurately because of it.
Let's face it...I'm easy. Slap some ivory stocks on a wheel gun and I like no matter what name is on the barrel.
Too old to live...too young to die...
