I'm a bit aggravated.

The auction closed on Sunday. Monday morning I went to PO and sent MO for item. He had payment on Thursday. He doesn't ship until Tuesday...late in the day on Tuesday. If he had gotten in out on Friday it would have arrived this week while I'm on vacation and I could have taken it to the range. Now I figure I'll get it late on Friday missing that opportunity.
I'm sure he had a real good reason for sitting on my payment for 5 days before bothering to get it out. When I sell (which is rarely) the item goes out NEXT DAY after payment. A couple of times when the buyer has been known to me from the forum I shipped same day the auction closed not even waiting for payment. Guess I'm kooky.

I think shipping should be done VERY soon after payment is received, two days max; but I am weird about that and my neck hurts like a sum-beech.
He isn't late for this vacation, he is incredibly early for your next vacation.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
and there is always the ones who do the shipping at there leisure.
good luck Doc at least you know they shipped it that's a big +

I have forgotten to send the MO for a couple days. And I have sent it the next day.
In each case, we all seem to have both survived with little or no long term damage. I just find that I cannot get that wound up over a couple days one way or the other. It seems there are usually more important things to burn stomach lining over.
I have had sellers send me the stuff before they got my MO. I have also had a guy who took a week because of some personal issues that came up on his end.

+1
We sell a fair amount on here and ship guns out THE day we get payment and FFL provided it is before about 2pm, after that it goes out the next day probably 95% of the time.
That above is probably why it bugs me so much when they wait.
But in the end a few days doesn't really hurt anyone.
It just bugs me when some sellers end a gun on a Thursday night, only accepts a postal money order and says payment must be in hand within 7 days or negative feedback will be left. Then ships the gun a week later.
A tragedy? Of course not. Like I said, I'm a little aggravated.
Good news is that according to USPS tracking it should arrive tomorrow so weather permitting I may get to the range on Friday.
