I was bidding on an old Colt blackpowder gun a while back. It had a reserve and a buy it now sign. I was really interested so i ran the bid way up. Almost to the buy it now price, I still had not got to the the reserve but I had to quit cause I was way over what I had originally planned to pay. The auction ended and I had the high bid but not the reserve. The seller e-mailed me and said he would like to sell the gun so he was really going to drop the price. He gave me a price that was way over the buy it now price. I thought it was a mistake so I asked him again, no mistake he was asking way over what I could have bought it for when it was up for auction. I thought it was a nice try but he will have to find someone else to pull that on.
