A friend ordered a AR-10 upper from BLACKTHORNE and it is pure junk [xx(] I did some checking and fond that they are the old HESSE [V]
Told him to send it back with the three day, no questions asked and cancel the CC on it.
How does a place like that stay in business this long [?]

    Vulcan/Hesse/Blackthorne...I think they had another name mixed in there as well. Just keep right on building junk, changing the name, and making sure not to honor any warranty claims on prior production.

    Vulcan had to close up shop and be renamed after one of their brand new .50BMG rifles failed on the first shot while on a public range and damned near killed the shooter.

    In my youth I worked for a construction company that would give 30 year warranties on all work. They did very shoddy work and most important thing was speed in completing jobs. Sacrifice quality for speed. Then they change company name and move to a new address every two years so customers could never find them in 3-05 years when work fell apart. I got fired after a few weeks for refusing to do the crappy quality work they demanded.
