Wife and I went over to Conway yesterday for a look see. Prices were high. However, did buy a stainless Kimber 22 to 45 conversion kit in the box for a decent price after haggling. Got a Remington 30-06 used for a good price after haggling. Ammo, brass, primers, and powder were high. One dealer had some Remington 22 short for $14.00 a box of 50, no one beating a trail to his table. The attendance was really high. The parking lot was full. Tables were full, but there was a lot of flea market and food tables.

Let us know how that conversion kit works out for you. I want one too for my Kimber. They run about 325 on just about every site. Found one for 289.00 Oakie

I assume the conversion kit is so you can shoot 45 out of your 22, since you can't find 22?

The shortage of 22LR is not going to continue, in my estimation. The manufacturers will catch up to demand shortly and the price will drop, just like the AR15 rifles.

Wish I shared your optimism. I see no evidence to suggest anything will improve.
