I have been offered an unfired 4.75" Colt SAA in 45 caliber made in 1982. It has a minor flaw in the fit at the top of the grip frame and he can't stand it. Sent me a photo showing the imperfection. It is very minor. I'm not a perfectionist. For $1,150 I can live with it.

No more complaining about not being able to find one.

Will post a photo when it gets here.

Thanks for your patience...

You should wear a mask when you complete that transaction. [:D]

Sounds like a great deal, Doc! Congratulations!

Someone else just emailed me about a 7.5" SAA in a pawn shop tagged at $600. May have to buy it, too.

    Good to hear, Doc.

Hopefully you'll be able to find something else to complain about soon.[:)]

Maybe the snow and ice will go away now and you can get off that hill.

Alright!!!!!!!!!!!!! You deserve it Doc. It took me over ten years to find just the right Winchester model 88, Post 64, NIB in 243. I got it and couldn't resist shooting it. took it to the range and fired it three times. I hate the way it kicks and put it back into the safe. It looks beautiful, but not a shooter.[:(] Some times i find what i am looking for right away, and some times it takes years, but i always find what i want. Right now I am on the hunt for a Remington 700 BDL in 257 Roberts. I found two last night, but waaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced. One was 2,800 and the other was 1,950 but has some problems with it. I think this one is going to take a while. Oakie

The one for $600 is cheap because it was poorly refinished. All I know at this point. I figure I could send it off and have it nickel plated and still have only $850 in it.
