i need help identifing a 9mm luger hollow point unknown grain ,looks like any other 9mm except it is covered in a heavy wax coating on the bullet ,?what have i got and is it legal???,all help is appreciated

Where did you get it? Was it in a box with any labeling? Did you buy it? Did the seller give you a hint? Did you find it somewhere? What is the headstamp? Any manufacturer's name or date? How do you know it's 9mm Parabellum? Is it possible you could have provided a bit more info to help us?
How much of this do you have? Might want to just chuck it. I personally would not shoot any ammo I could not positively identify and would never shoot reloads that I did not reload myself. If the ammo is not in factory packaging I would suspect they are reloaded.
