A look Back in History
I have just run across a quote from a National President of the Fraternal Order of Police dated 1967. In his letter to the NRA, Mr. R. Pat Stark stated: "Those who push gun control are the same ones that hamstring the police. They intend to have a disarmed citizenry, protected by a paralyzed police department." When both come to pass, American Liberty will be at an end. Mr. Stark further stated that the Fraternal Order of Police stands with the NRA against those forces who would destroy us both.
I really do think that this gentleman was right on track. Me thinkst that this man was a hero in his own time.
What has happened to this type of sane and rational thinking?
My profound thought for the day will be, You are innocent until proven guilty. May all the things in your life today be right on target.

"If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege." - Arkansas Supreme Court, 1878
