Looking at a house priced at $264,000 and according to the listing it was built in 2003 and sold new for $24,000. Has real estate gone up 13x in 12 years? In Arkansas?

No, but it does have 2,800 square feet with a fully finished shop in the back. Looks like it was well done...

That does look nice and you could get away from that steep driveway. Don

the $24k might have been the original sale of just the land to a builder/developer? (that's how mine is listed on our county website...the finished house sold later and is listed separately)

I am not a carpenter but that doesn't look like 2800 square foot.

That is just the shop in back. The place were Doc will keep some of his guns, the rest being stored in the 6 car garage.[:p]

Doc, that shop would make a fine guest house, then all your GunBroker friends could come stay at your place.[}:)][:D]

The shop looks like a small house but is not styled after the house itself.

Only a 2 car garage. Sort of looking for 3. But this storage unit would help solve some of that.

Actually, I think suggesting the Arkansas house was a mobile home is a little insulting. But I realize it was an attempt at humor so I let it go.

We were not given the option to choose a major in the 2nd grade.

No need to embellish. I let the work stand on its own merits...mine and God's.

Second grade? I don't remember the second grade. I vividly recall 14 years in college graduating 5 times.

No basket weaving. AS in Industrial Arts. BS in Liberal Arts. BA in Fine Art. MA in Art History. EdD in Higher Education Leadership. All while working full time to support myself and pay for schooling. No loans or grants. Paid my own way and walked away debt free. Nice to know I made so much effort so that others could ridicule, belittle and insult my accomplishment.
