There are a couple of small things I don't like about the new Colorado as well as on the old S10 but overall I like it very much. The fit and finish is really very nice. I cannot find any paint flaws, bad body seams, kinks in the interior, nothing. It rides higher and stiffer (watch it, I'm talking suspension, here) and has tremendous interior room. I am 6'3" and I had to slide the seat forward because I was reaching too far for the steering wheel and pedals. Wow.
It's got a fancy stereo system. Probably more than what I need but it looks real cool. The AC works like RIGHT NOW and is very cold. My wife hates that there's no key entry on the passenger side and I would prefer to have one but apparently this is how Chevy makes them, now.
I knew it would have more power and I can certainly feel it. Almost snappy acceleration and I oredered the highway gears for cruising economy.
My biggest concern was all that extra power meaning a real drop in fuel mileage. Well, I filled it this morning after driving 133 miles and it got 24 MPG. About 80% of the miles were city driving so it looks like it will be pretty good on gas. Whew!
I still like the yellow color, too. I drove downtown today and it was fun driving amid a sea of black SUVs. It's fun to stand out in a crowd.
Just in case you forgot what it looks like:

I've had the same chevy for 19 years. 231,000.
Just can't afford to drive it hehehe. I has two full tanks and I drive it sparingly cuz the gas mileage is pretty weak.
I love my old truck though. The main problem is that I ordered it with 4:10 axles way back then to do hauling with. shoulda got 2:78s or whatever.
2 wheel.
