The Saga of 'The DWS Legend' Continues ...

Having been asked if I knew anything of the `early years' of
The DWS Legend, I had to profess my ignorance. Because of
our growing interest of the subject, I employed The Fife
Detective Agency to run an exhaustive background check.
Three weeks later, The Fife Detective Agency came up with
this bit of fascinatingly obscure informantion.
This is perhaps the earliest piece of public domain documentation
that gives us a hint of the complicated and intricate genesis of this
GB phenomena. It is interesting - and I don't think it's a
coincidence - that it was inadvertantly uncovered during a
search for O.Henry's, 'The Ransom of Red Chief!'
Upon closer inspection, it's apparent the similarities are
responsible for the confusion. Anyway, I'll let the reader
judge for themselves!
... the investigation continues.[:D]
