My second rant of the day

Having the satisfaction of growing your own vegetables is very rewarding, but not when spider mites chew up the entire plants [an emoticon to express my anger not available].

My zucchini squash and red savina hot peppers were the healtiest of my garden until quite literally overnight those damn spider mites caused more than half the leaves to fall off and make the plant sick.

I applied neem oil [or whatever they call it] and it seems to be working, but I dont know if I will be able to enjoy any red savinas at all. At least I got some zucchini though.

Rant over;

On a bit of good news after the application of 'super thrive' on my tomatoes the flowers have appeared to stop falling off and have actually give me a few maters. At least this year I will be able to enjoy pink brandywines. [:p]

    My problem this year has been spotty mildew. nothing has set yet spray the cucumbers every 3rd day. They are finally getting leaves without spots.
