Oak tree question

The leaves on one complete branch have turned almost all yellow and I believe it's termed "sclerosis" (sp?). Would root feeding help the situation? Thanks

Take several pictures of the tree, cut off a decent size section, and take the pics and the section to your local ag extension office. If you don't have one, local nurseries usually have somebody who can help.

If you can't do that, post the pics on a gardening forum.

Putting an open wound on an oak tree this time of year is an invitation for oak wilt if that isnt what you have already!

I doubt if this helps but on my pin oaks, if i cut the end off a drooping branch, usually the whole branch ends up dying all the way back to the trunk. These trees are 63 yrs old, same as me.
