Started out at 56. So I decided to let it warm up just a little before I went out.

Waited to long cause It jumped to 80 already.

dropped 15 degrees in wichita as the partial eclipse hit..we are overcast nw of there so it will not be a real biggee

just grabbed a welding helmet and max was about 1/2 covered here ..could see the cloud thickness change

At least that if not more in SE Idaho where we had totality for over two minutes.
Temps started to decrease at less than 1/4 and started to increase with even less.

Pretty cool to see it get light from West to East instead of East to West.

11 rt and 7 rt now and leaf shadow on sidewalk looked odd so we took pics

lunar eclipse here couple of years ago..so being out in the country we parked on a hill and got comfy chairs in the back of a pickup...OH MY..did not realize how many million stars of our galaxy and others in the milky way that showed that are normally obscured by reflected light
