I thought it might be something like that.

I don't understand why people insist on taking out as many people as they can when they commit suicide. [V]

Selfish, self centered b@st@rd[xx(]. I still believe in the right to end your own ride through life. But, that right is limited to your own ticket getting punched. You don't have the right to make that decision for 149 other people who might just have some plans for their future.

If he is found to have intentionally done this, his family should be exterminated to prevent another person from even thinking of trying it again.

I've been ridiculed for suggesting such.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I don't think this event will leave the thoughts of anyone who ever takes a flight again. Every flight I have ever taken the pilot or co pilot greet the passengers. That guy knew each one of those folks would be dead soon. He committed suicide but he is also a mass murderer.

Add that to the list of reasons I don't fly.

Just like the death penalty stops all murders, right?

Killing a killer will stop him from killing again, but it won't stop the next guy.

Your suggestion is ridiculous, but I suspect you already know that.

What death penalty? Damn few convicted killers get it and even when they do it is years later, IF it was almost instant it might have more impact. And no it won't stop them all but....

My father had certain lines you just didn't cross, he was "cool" in some areas and fairly lenient with "growing up" but I had no doubt that he would break both my legs if I violated those boundaries.

Therefore no matter how much my peers may have teased me or called me chicken some things I just refused to do for fear of the punishment. Capital punishment or the fear of it certainly prevented me from doing some things and I believe it would prevent some of these idiots from committing their crimes if it was a swift.

Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

I disagree, but life is like that I suppose.

The death penalty is a punishment, not a deterrent.

You agree with a law that would kill your wife and kids if you killed someone?

He could have had the decency to wait until the Democratic national convention and then crash his plane into that!

Suicide merely takes away one person's pain and transfers it to someone else. In this case, the remaining families and friends of 149 other people. [V]

Suicide is I believe the ultimate guilt trip revenge for some people .They are saying to the world /family etc "look what you drove me to do, Now you will feel guilty about the way you treated me the rest of your life "Course doesn't apply to the muslam idiots
cry Havoc and let slip  the dogs of war.....

Its mass murder, not suicide, cause the POS isn't worth the mention.

And a harrowing thing, is that the individual may have been trying to put a guilt trip on someone for the deaths of the other 149 people, as well. That is some sick schit.

If I can't open the door and put my foot on the ground I don't ride. It may take me longer to get there, but I still like my chances over being 38000 feet above dirt.

Things like this make me hope that there's a final accounting to be paid by each of us. I have enough to answer for but I'd hate to be in the shoes of this murderer.

well in france now islam is the #1 religion and germany is kicking back against all the muslim actions...so i still think this is a retaliation against them for not accepting it....makes more sense than taking out a whole plane for your own troubles....both countries as in the USA are hung up in political correctness....my long distance uninformed opinion
