The new type pcp airrifle at 34-70lb + with better penetration than a 22lr. They are serious tools.

My buddy's niece was shot in the rear by some yahoo with a pellet from an air rifle. It went through her jeans and 2.5 inches of muscle / fat and came to rest against her pelvis. The yahoo was 20-30 yards away.

I simply had no idea there were air rifles that powerful.

The yahoo was charged with assault and firing into a crowd and maybe some other stuff and convicted of a felony charge.

The newer air rifles are pretty potent. I know several guys that use them to control rodents and small animals late at night versus the 22LR for noise control.

Compressed air ones are common in Europe.

A boy in SC was killed 2-3 years ago when his Dad accidentally discharged and hit him in the head.

There were some fairly large-bore air rifles that were militarily used during the Revolutionary War. They used a spherical pressurized air chamber that was mounted beneath the gun, and were apparently pretty lethal.

I know a couple of chipmunks and squirrels that were surprised recently in my back yard.

Dennis is a good guy, I have been gathering his airguns since the mid 90's. the 375 bandit is a fav of mine. It will damn near go through a pine 2x4.

been hearing of different assaults against homeless and this is senseless...mostly they have nothing to steal, many are troubled vets or those with mental problems, or just people that lucked out, mostly defenseless...wish something would happen to the perps in lieu of the law and court failures
