    I'd agree Todd.

I'm sorry you are having to go through this.

I know how difficult it was for me, this past Winter.

I know you will have made the right and correct decision, with your Bud, forefront in your mind.

It is difficult to do the right thing sometimes.

It's been pretty tough. Had the vet come out yesterday morning and put the old guy down. After really paying attention to him and comparing him to what he was even a month ago it was amazing how far he'd went downhill. Last week he could still jump into my truck to go for a ride, which was his favorite thing to do. However, yesterday it was all he could do to put his feet up to have me lift him in. We went for an hour long ride, got home and ate 3 cheeseburgers before the vet got there. Laid down in the warm morning sun and went to heaven.....This morning is pretty rough, but time goes on. Thanks for asking guys[:)]

Man I hate to hear that.

I am glad he had a great last day.

You are right dogs go downhill very fast. I have had to put 2 of mine down in the last 3 years and it never gets easy.

My thoughts are with you Todd.

I very well know how tough that is to do. (It still grieves me.)

I'm sorry for your loss Brother.

As bad as it is today with the loss, it's really nothing compared to sitting in a chair with him just waiting for the vet to arrive. I really didn't have a place to bury him, so we're going to have him creamated and keep his ashes along with my last one. When I go, I'll have the wife mix us all up and we can all be together.

Sorry to hear, Todd. They leave such a hole in our lives. Darn critters just don't live long enough.

Jake and Reggie will keep him company at the Rainbow Bridge until you get there.
