    I don't get it. guy lost his job for saying he was gonna run over protesters if they was in the street. this guy loses his for saying hurricane is karma. but the Missouri representative who said trump should be assassinated is still employed

    Members of Congress can only be fired by impeachment proceedings for serious crimes, or by losing the next election.

    OTOH, making threats against the President is a crime, &, at the least, should be investigated by the Secret Service (which wasn't done in this case).

    On the other hand why do they feel the need to print stupid stuff on "social media"? They know its going to upset people and get back to them.

    Only goes to show you that a person's tongue can get you into more hot water than an actual act of disobedience!

    Seems that I have witnessed a whole bunch of folks losing their jobs from posts made on internet chat sites like face book and twitter.

    I hate what this professor said and totally disagree with his thinking. Freedom of speech is a myth along with much of our former freedoms that some believe we still have.
