Beautiful evening

My wife and I were sitting out on the porch this evening and I had one of those Whiteclouder moments. I will try to set the mood but it is very difficult to put feelings into words. The sun had just gone down and it was perfectly calm. We live in a very rural setting above a valley that runs about two miles south from the house. The sky was still pink and the flag I have flying was outlined on the sky by jet contrails. While we were sitting there in the quiet a pack of coyote pups started crying down the valley about a mile. Another pack answered them from about a mile east. The only other sound was my 112# labrador squeaking her toy. She is gods gift to people. In the busy scheme of things moments like this are to far apart. If I had Whiteclouders gift of expressing myself maybe you could feel some of the adjectives I felt. Pastoral, bucolic, idyllic, at ease with the world- whatever. wundudnee
