I've got a pretty nice Blacktail I took a few years back. It is 21" wide (outside) the main beams are a bit over 21". It is a 5x4 with 2" long eyeguards also. Total of 6 points on the left side 5 on the right. I've never had it officially scored. I tried to score it myself with a Boone and Crockett score sheet. It roughs around 145 but deductions take it back to around 120 or so. I was pretty happy when I took him.

In 36 years of deer hunting I've never had any measured. Took one last year with a bow that the kids had entered in Pope and Young (148) for me as a birthday gift. Still looking for a 180 to 200 headgear.....maybe this year...

I had my 16 point scored by a guy at a Whitetail Banquet that came in at 163 5/8. He told me it should make it into the Iowa record book, but I think I'll wait until I get a real big one.
