I don't have a stress fracture...Good news there.
I have condition called Morton's neuroma, a swollen and irritated nerve in the ball of my foot.
Doc stuck a needle down into my foot and shot a cocktail of chemicals onto this nerve. I don't like needles at all, and this one hurt like a %&$@*.
Sure wish he had arrived at this diagnosis two weeks ago. Could have saved some sick leave.
Tomorrow should be a fun day. Colonoscopy. Fun. I took my medicine to "prep" myself, but so far, it hasn't worked. Just feels bloated.

By the way, a nice warm cup of beef bouillon will help cut the sugary sweetness of that junk ya gotta drink. Best wishes on the procedure...

Maybe I missed something, but what do foot problems have to do with a colonoscopy? Have you been kicking your own *?
Hope they don't find anything, but get pictures anyway!
Is this the first time for you? I have to have it done every three years since they removed a small polup. Quite normal I am told for folks over 60.
I am 53 and this is my first one. Dang medicine isn't working. I am pretty sure it has to work, or the doc won't do the exam.
Did you have to drink a whole gallon? I wanted to puke before I got the whole thing down. Eventually, it will work though.[:)][:p][:(]
What that doctor probably shot you up with is a Steroid (cortisone I think).
My brother had it too, between the little toe and the next toe.
He had his cut out.
Morton's neuroma is a ball of nerves that get inflamed, first you feel heat and then intense pain that should go away when taking your shoes off.
What I did to alleviate my problem is to go to a larger size shoe and WIDE. Give your foot some room.

That is about the only orfice they have not invaded in me. What the heck. The meds will work. You will hate them. Mrs. had to have one === diverticulitis. No fun.
I am seeing my buddy next week to get new inserts that fit me. Feet hurt like the dickens. Neuropathy? Nerve damage due to need of support in the ball of my foot. Makes me mad as I have always had good wheels.
I hope you get your self up and out of this. Docs do like to run test, then another test, and another test, and then some more tests and maybe a few more tests. Ca CHING!!!! Thank you Mr. Nunn for you insurance.
Thanks[:D]
