I remember hearing that Patrick Wayne auctioned off his father's 38-40 SAA, with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Does anyone know who bought it and where it is today?

Any idea what happened to his leather gear, with his distinctive mid-ride holster?

    That's the one, Saxon. I've always heard that he used the same Colt and leather gear in most all of his movies.

    I've watched for this and can say that he might have used new leather from time to time, but the design of his rig never changed. You can also spot that same revolver with the yellowed ivory grips in each of his westerns.

    That would be a very cool weapon to put some rounds through.
