Another happy ending! Bad guy dies.
If you look close enough, bad guy makes an error and hits the mag release and drops his mag. I was going to post another video of the same incident that highlights the mag falling out of the vehicle, but I couldn't find it again.

Good video, case closed.
my thoughts exactly
won't not pull up so close to the perp and put himself at risk. Should use this as a training aid for new recruits.
Good video. Glad the ofcr will be OK. It looks like the bad guy got to suffer for a while.
P.S.: Forgot to add the suspect had just robbed a Brookshire Bros. grocery store.
After committing an armed robbery at a grocery store the guy also carjacked a woman out in the parking lot of the business. He didn't take the lady, but that's her truck you're seeing in the video.
The round you see him fire at the officer was actually the only one he got off during this entire incident. At some point while in the truck his mag was somehow released (found in the cab still loaded with 15) and he was left with just the chambered round.
That officer driving the car had only been on the street a matter of months and is believed to be the one who fired the fatal round. The guy took multiple hits - including one right across his nose - but the one that was ultimately fatal was to the neck.
I always get a kick out of how willing the criminals are to give up as soon as they know they have lost. This guy had no problem robbing someone, then shooting/at the cops until he cant shoot anymore then he is READY to give up. [:(!]
Those are the rules. If you don't like them then stay out of law enforcement. You have to learn to turn it off when it's over. If you don't, you don't last long.

Just like a bad guy ,trying to kill him one second and then calling him SIR next.
Unless Iam missing something, I think it was the officer who was shot that said sir, probably to his supervisor.
Just like a bad guy ,trying to kill him one second and then calling him SIR next. All the audio on this is from a microphone on the officer driving the car. What you're hearing is him calling his Chief 'Sir' as he tells him he's been shot.
When you hear him telling someone toward the end to open their door and telling them he's been shot, I'm guessing he's addressing another officer who had just pulled up. I'm told he didn't wait on an ambulance, instead just jumping in with another officer who drove him to the hospital.
