If i am wrong someone correct me ....Coleman invented the M16 colt bought the patent ,it first was intented to be a BB gun.But it looked so neat and futuristic it's form was adopted for the real .223 stuff .

Their biggest problem is you have to pump 'em up every now and then or the sights get dim.
