Did they ever make them in Italy? I bought a big lot of mags and just trying to figure out all what I have.

    If they are Mecgar mags they are made in Italy.

    They're stamped 'Made in Italy'. [:D]

    Their original 'zipper' style mags with the obvious seam on the back were German made. Current production mags are produced by Checkmate. Not as good.

    the mecgar are top notch and made in italy
    the slick mags are better than the phosphate ones
