I have one on a Remington 700 VSSF in 308 and like it a lot, its very rigid and comfortable, the only drawback is the stock alone weighs about 5 pounds. My rifle total weight with scope and bi-pod weighs in at just over 15 pounds, its fine for the bench or p.dogs ... they don't know the difference, but I wouldn't want to lug it around hunting deer.

I found the T-rail is not ideal for the Harris Bipod, but it's good for the Parker-Hale style Versa-Pod ... if you want to use a Harris you need a #6 adapter (which is about $6) The "T" rail doesn't allow the Harris to draw up to the stock, it high-centers on the bar so its not very stable.

The aluminum bedding block contributes much to accuracy..and they are stiff.Yes,also heavy...part of the penalty of the price.Retail is about 150 bucks,110 or so thru Brownells. The last big Tulsa show a guy had 'seconds' for 80 bucks.
I have several for 'test beds '..a barreled action will shoot about as good as it gets without a 350 buck stock and carefull bedding.
    Just my opinon.....
