Wasn't feeling real well yesterday evening. About 11:30 last night I took my BP. 195/115, called DesMoines VA and they told me to come in. By the time I got there my BP was 207/120, a new high for me. They managed to get it down quite a ways and sent me home. Doctor thought it was anxiety. My white blood count was out of wack as well. He thought that I maybe fighting some kind of infection, like a cold or something. Got home around 4:30 this morning, and woke up alittle bit ago. Still have one heck of a headache.
BTW, They took a ton of test, chest x-ray, EKG, urine. Said everything else came back clean.

You don't have a family history of Cancer do you?
Keep on top of your white blood cell count.
Glad to see you're still alive.

No, only family health problems is the blood pressure thing.

Good, no matter the case. Glad you're still kicking
Have you had bad, blinding, searing pain headaches before?
What are you taking to control your BP? Do you also take aspirin?
An elevated white cell count "could" be a sign of latent infection, or possibly the start of one of many various immune-related events.

I have to take a whole host of meds in the morning and evening for my BP to include a apirin. I also take Clonidine, Felodipine, Metoprolol, Lisinopril, Gemfibrosil for the triglycerides, and some other stuff for cholesteral.
Also thanks everyone for the well wishes.
Then again, maybe not! [;)]
With that witches' brew, your titration of the various meds could swing radically during the day. No wonder you're having a little trouble.
Just be sure to drink plenty of water and make sure not to add stress to your daily grind, and see if you can get one of those cool BP monitors that looks like a Dick Tracy wrisWar on Terrorch to enhance your calmness.
for some reason the nannymetrics changed the Dick Tracy wrist watch to the garbled stuff you see above.
