I believe he shagged, the first sign of trouble. Iran, Iraq or Syria(sp), one of the other terrorist countries..

I read a report somewhere (so, since I can't even remember where I read it, it may just be B.S.) that Bin Laden and the leader of the Taliban took off in a small prop plane as soon as the first wave of planes began bombing Afghanistan. So, even if he's still in the country my guess is that he's not where everyone thinks he is. I'm sure all of this was planned well in advance, he's probably somewhere amongst a civilian population (cause he knows we won't bomb them).

i think he may be in somalia. he has ties there and has operated out of that chaotic country in the past. to me, this would just give us a reason to burn that country down, too, in payback for the atrocities those scumbags committed on US military men killed there a number of years ago. it is just like afghanistan, with a ruling militia holding power by force and using terrorism against others.

I think he is still there because of his ego. Despite our power, he cannot see past his opinion of us as being decadent and weak willed... ergo, nothing can happen to him. We'll never have the chutzbah to go in and take him out, he figures.

He is probably still in Afghanistan hiding in one of those get-ups the Taliban makes the women wear. How could you possibly tell? Should he decide to flee, what better disguise could one have?I'm certain I would not want to inspect the contents of those "pup tents" after the occupant spent a week or so in the desert! Maybe some well trained special ops will be lucky enough to find bin lauden in their night vision scope and hopfully it is attached to a .50 cal sniper rifle. Robin
