    We left our beach house in Galveston,Texas
    yesterday about 1pm.
    Not directly in the path but storm surge
    is too dang hard to predict. We are only 7 feet above
    sea level.
    Have a place just west of Livingston, Texas.
    We will ride it out there.

    The projected path is something we have never seen.

    I have a little beer, but nothing stronger.

    Anyone staying here will be offered food, water, iced tea, Dr Pepper, milk, and beer.

    Accommodations are not luxurious, but ample, and free.

    No one has accepted the offer yet. No one accepted last time either. That's OK.

    If you are there, keep your head down and stay safe.

    Thanks for the offer Nunn, we are bunkered down. Power has been flickering but still on, lot's of rain so far. The worse for us, is still yet to come, we have enough rations for atleast a month so my fat * won't go Jenny Craig anytime soon. Wife's dept mandated a 72 hour lock in for deputies, hopefully she will come home Monday night sometime. If mother nature gets to cranky, I will give you call. [:)]
