    Fresh home roasted coffee in the morning

    Home brewed iced tea in the afternoon and/or with dinner

    A shot of Irish Whiskey mixed with a shot of Irish Mist on the rocks at night, or sometimes a glass of port.

    I'd have to go with fresh lemonade made from lemons off our tree in the backyard, or Cranapple juice, if I absolutly cant have something alcoholic.

    can I pick an alcoholic drink, then distill all the alcohol out of it, convert it to di-ethyl ether, add it back in, and call that my favorite drink?

    Diethyl ether is what dentists used to give patients to numb the pain.
    Sniffing ether also used to be quite common.
    Ive got a handle of moonshine (well its about 3/4 full), its around 95%.

    Ive always wanted to try the chemical reaction
    2 Ethanol + heat and catalyst----> DiEthylEther + Water
    CH3CH2OH + CH3CH2OH --> CH3CH2-O-CH2CH3 + H2O

    Turn your alcohol into an ether, similar effects.... it still gets you intoxicated. I wonder if diethyl ether containing stuff is illegal.
    Sorry kids cant sell you alcohol, your under 21, but hows about a handle of ether, works good for date rape too, soak a cloth in it and hold it over the girls face

    ok thats getting off topic, but thats just wrong to exclude alcoholic drinks, and ill look for any way around it i can.

    I drink a large amount of water during the day (especially at the office). I very rarely have soda. I figure that can only be good considering the amount of beer I put through this old body on the weekends![:D][:I]

    There is nothing quite like a good cream soda or a Dr. Pepper! I also like Ice cold water or a Fresca.
    Honestly, I prefer BEER.

    A good scotch in the evening or cherry-vanilla coke.

    Well with the weather getting warmer and me walking around outside a lot at work...I drink a ton of Dairymans Diet Ice Tea. It does the trick to quench your thirst on a hot day. The regular dairy ice teas and even the Arizona ice teas I find too sugary now.

    Up to maybe a gallon of water everyday. Gotta flush out the toxins somehow. With meals, 2% milk that's so cold it has a skim of ice on it. In a restaurant, sweet tea.

    Monster energy drink. That stuff is addictive - probably because it's not made with corn syrup. But its also expensive ($2.30 for a 16oz can). It's more of a once a week treat than a regular drink.

    scottm21166,
    Have you tried the new Coke Blak? It is like a Coke/Coffee mix. Takes a few swigs to get used to it, but pretty good.

    I prefer coffee and Dew. I haven't had enough until the shakes prevent me from writing or typing.
