TARGET, Politicaly Correct????

OK I admit I may just be out of touch a bit!!
Last time I was in a Target store was probably 20 years ago with my dad, whe went in and bought a brick of 22 shells for the weekend.

Well anyway I took the wife to church this morning and me and the kids spent the next few hours looking around a new Super Target that has just opened. Looked at all the new toys for the kids, WOW I never had toys like some of these they have now!!!
Went to look around the sporting goods section and guess what???
Not a singal item that was gun related, not even any cleaning supplies! Also no fishing supplies, not even a rod or reel! No Bow stuff either. Just bikes, little camping gear, scuba stuff (No Oceans around here!) And Golf supplies! Man did I feel Left out!!!!
Even went to the magazine section, no gun mags or outdoors mags, just Yuppie stuff!!! In fact the more I looked around the more Yuppies and Yuppies stuff I saw!! What happened to Target!! Politically correct!!! Even there food section seemed Yuppish!!
I guess I will keep doing buisness with Wall mart and K-mart!! At least the have chose to be not so politically correct at the moment!!

Boy I sure miss the good ole days!!!!!

Of course I can play the piano, as long as it has pedals!

    Dupont,
Have to agree with you, but you kind of have to watch K-mart in my neck of the woods. If it don't shoot a paint ball or water you won't don't have much selection.

    Duck
Our Wal and K store are actually better than most of the local gun shops! Wish this wasant true, but it is unless you just want something used and way overpriced!!

No offence to the many Gunshop owners on the list!!!

Denver is proud of there gun prices!

Of course I can play the piano, as long as it has pedals!

they pulled all the handguns and handgun ammo out of the Sports Authority(a sporting goods store).....how rediculous is that.....its impossible to find a gun shop up my way....i lived in NC and there was a gun shop every other block....up here in MD the internet is the easiest(and cheapest) way to get guns and ammo.

If you never try you will always fail.

Did you see any soccer balls, tie dyed shirts, or beads?

the two target stores by my house are both the same. no guns, no ammo, no knives (except the cheap crappy stuff they can afford to hang in the isles) no cleaning stuff...nothing worth mentioning. I do my business with wal-mart when it comes to ammo and anything relating to sports. much better selection, and the prices are usually better too.

I know what you mean. I had not been in one for more years than I can remember. I went into one last week. I was looking for a case of oil. All they had was quarts, and then they did not have my brand. I tried to find the sporting goods section. Did not take me long to remember why I had not been in one in years. I will not go back.

If I knew then, what I know now.

Most all the gun magazines are out of the drug and grocery stores also.

Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.
