Today was the best day I ever had shooting. I helped my 31 year old son build studwalls so he can finish his basement. He borrowed a .277 Hilti Gun from the the Construction company that he works for and because he had injured his hand thursday night in a soft ball game I had to shoot all of the plates into the floor along with the boards that we skabbed the stud wall to the concrete wall with the Hilti gun. Man he worked my butt off but we had a great time bonding and I loved the smell of the gun powder. This was a 10 shot semi automatic nail driver looked kinda like a UZI...DIDN'T MISS ONCE! AUTO Probably won't be able to get out of bed tommorrow.... OTO

Robs thanks for your recognition, I have wanted to have some kind of medal all of my life. I will cherish it for life. dano I think it was a un-registered Class III had a plastic 10 round magazine but a guy could figure out a way to bond them together and shoot forever .277 caliber pump action. but you had to insert the stud for each shot. I remembered my training and never pointed at anything that I didn't want to destroy. finger off the trigger etc. can't wait until next weekend the other brother will be helping so all I will have to do is shoot and cut off studs and plates...They have compasion for the old fat man....It is amazing how fast the automatic nailer and stud gun make a project go, we are over half way done with the whole project and only put in about 6 hours As far as putting up the walls. Had to quit and celebrate his Birthday...

Otto watch the rickeche? How the hell do yu spell that one. Any way those Hilti have landed many a crew member in the redi-med for stitches or punchture wounds! Hilti also makes a 458! Yea buddy, hold on to yure * when letting that one go! I broke my hand using one, recoil smashed my hand back into a expanded bar joist. Still hurts to think of it. Purple loads are not for pussies! Hang on and good hunting!

I love those nail guns. I borrowed my father in laws last year so that I could finish my basement. Due to the fact that it sounded like a gun when being fired, I decided that I should do my basement "legally" and get the township involved with the inspections. I envisioned neighbors hearing the gun shots, and calling the police, and then being busted for working on my basement without a permit. Biggest mistake I ever made. Evertything wound up costing alot more than originally planned, and taking alot longer than originally planned. On top of that, I had to give the township $500 in "bail" money, that was to be a motivator in making sure that I kept the township in the picture until the project was done. They got real cute with returning my bail, claiming I did not have a proper electric inspection, which I did. They changed the rules, saying I needed two inspection cards, when the written rules and regulations I had made no mention of this "two card" rule. I went to the township meeting and raised hell, explained I would do everything I could to prevent the "township fathers" who were present from getting re-elected, and they finally saw things my way, and returned the bail money.

I just did a job last fall where I shot close to a thousand rounds through one of those guns in four days .27 red loads, ended up wearing a wrist brace second day out. I havnt had the time to take my 45 hand gun out yet to see if Ive developed a flinch hope it had the opposite effect
