I noticed that Para-Ordinance is running ads saying that they are releasing pre-ban Hi-Cap Magazine at regular prices. I have had dealers offer me these magazines recently at from $50 to $100. I wondered if any of you had been pricing these as well. I have 2 pistols that use P-14 magazines and I am wondering if this is the time to buy. I also wonder if these are truly pre-ban or are they still cranking these out in Canada.

I stopped in Tanners Gunshop in Jamison PA and he had a huge pile of Para P-14 Hi cap mags, new for $59! (215 343-3103)

There was recently a lot of five new P-14 factory hi-cap magazines on auction. The asking price was $250 plus shipping. That's a steal in my opinion. If you can get em cheaper than $70 I'd go for it every time. If they wear out, all Para Ordnance magazine parts parts can be legally purchased with items out of the Brownell's catalog so long as you do not create a new hi-cap magazine in the process.

I just picked up 6 delivered for $295. Even the local guy I deal with has come down from his normal $90 asking price to $69. I still shop the net, and have seen more and more in the $50 range. Even though I have over 10, I keep looking and buying when the price is right. Good luck
