Picked up this .22 LR two shot derringer, it says PANZER mdae in USA, cant find a thing on it ,,

    Did a Google search. Turned up zilch pertaining to this gun.

    What's with the extra front sight (on the bottom of the barrels)?

    The extra sight is on the other barrel, you turn it over to fire the second shot.

    THESE ARE CALLED "TWISTERS" SEVERAL COMPANYS HAVE MADE THEM . NONE FOR VERY LONG. I HAVE A NEW "CLASSIC" TWISTER LISTED ON THIS SITE.

    I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

    The only reference I have found so far is in the Official Guide to Gunmarks, 3rd. Edition by Balderson, page 58; it states that PANZER is a trade name used by G.M.F. Corporation of Watertown, CT on derringers. I have yet to find any other reference to G.M.F.
