I just visited the remington website and there's an offer to eliminate the "bolt lock" device so you can operate the bolt with the safety on. For $20 they'll inspect the trigger group and replace it with a new one, or just remove the locking device and reinstall your old trigger. I've got a 700 BDL that I'm thinking of sending in, but with the pending lawsuits you'd think Remington would forego the $20. Does anybody here know how to do this? I'd rather not send my gun in if I can help it.
