Beth was looking up an old friend of ours Nic Frising who was an illustrator and character artist for many biker magazines and other mediums.. I sent nic some patches for his collection and he sent me a dozen of his signed Bike character drawings. We lost touch in early 2004 and Beth was just looking to see what became of him and his web page. He passed away at the age of 62. A great friend and super artist. I guess we should all keep up with our friends ...[:(][:(] Nic was from Joplin Missouri.

The 11th picture down is a Simplex Automatic - first bike I ever owned. I was 14 I believe and rode it to school and work every day= rain, shine, sleet or snow.

My neighbor and classmate, also 14, got a Harley Hummer and boy was I jealous. I couldn't afford a Harley !
