    Called this am and spoke to his wife, not good,not responding to any voice or stimulus atm, semi-coma, appears paralized from the waist down, blood clot was released and it went to left side of his brain. Damn good guy who has had his life cheated by a drunk cop! Hope they fry his drunk *! But he will probaly get a slap on the wrist while an innocent person suffers. Do I sound bitter, yes, is it fair NO! A mans life and business is ruined by a drunk, and all they want to do is make it hard on the working man!

    If the story behind this was posted I missed it. Could you shed some light on what happened? If it is a bitter subject and you do not wish to tell the story, I and most of us on here will understand.

    Shooter was hit broadside by a drunk police officer. He has had 4 surgery's and so far is worse now then after the 3rd. He had internal injuries, broken leg, arm and back injuries. The police dept has tried to sweep it under the rug being it was a "veteran officer". Their insurance is fighting payments due to the fact the police dept is trying to hide the fact the officer was drunk.He has pretty much lost his life and business due to a slack * police dept and a drunk.I have helped his wife sale a lot of his personal guns to help cover medical cost but the bills continue to pile up and no relief in site. If I sound bitter towards cops, well right now I am. I have sent letters , photos and documents to SLED and they are investigating it now, but who knows how long that will take. In the mean time all we can do is hope and pray. Some from here offered to help but that hasn't happened yet either. I don't know as many of you as shooter does but I know a good man is down due to one slack * drunk and our so called police dept wants to cover it up while trying to screw a good man and his family out of their means of life. Right now I have no use for cops or drunks! Thats just my rant on this subject for now. Mean-while pray for that family

    Wish the best for Shooter, I think when a family has to fight a Government agency its time to call a lawyer. He should be able to help with the bills.

    I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish him and his family the best of luck.I don't know what to say. Get a lawyer and rip the dept a new one. If they want to cover it up thats more reason to tear into them.

    b00mer, Believe me we are all still praying, including some really good cops that are on his side. What police department was involved?
    Save, research, then buy the best.Join the NRA, NOW!Teach them young, teach them safe, teach them forever, but most of all, teach them to VOTE!
