Is Sheryl Crow Now Pro-Gun?

In her latest single she's singing at the end "I got my .45 on so I can rock on".

Didn't she used to sing negatively about "Wal-Mart guns" and Wal-Mart slammed her?

Anywho, not many good looking female rock stars are singing about having their ".45 on"

    Yea jdb, I wasn't sure. It's kinda of a stretch for her to be pro-gun but it's also a stretch for her to be singing about on old vinyl 45, so I really dunno. Perhaps I think too logically and not like an "artist".

    Nice girl.Does not like guns,but it's ok for her to promote illegal drug use in her songs.Maybe we can get her a seat on the plane next to Alex Baldwin when he leaves the country.

    Most of the folks in the entertainment field have no real convictions on any subject but themselves, and when You hear them sounding off on some hot topic, they are only parroting their publicist's idea of what will get the most attention from the audience. "Expiediency Morals", how many of the arm waving-hand wringing celebrities that were so upset over the September Crisis have You seen on either screen of late? Prostitution has many forms,and in My opinion, the "Whores" that sell their body are at the top of the field, at least six notches above politicians,and ten notches above Lawyers!

    i attended high school with sheryl--she is a very nice polite lady--dont know her views on guns but her father who is a lawyer defended a freind of mine on a concealed charge---smalltown judges are great--the guy was in the right and of course walked with no record of offense---she comes from a good family--and im sure she is referring to a record not a pistol................................

    both the title of the song "Soak up the Sun" and the context of the lyrics indicates that she's got her 45 SPF sunscreen on. Too much to hope for that she would mean .45, no?
