I have recently picked up the sport of hunting ground squirrels with my ruger 10/22 i was wondering if there were any tips out there for me . I find it quite a challenge, and a great deal of fun.. Am i using the right gun? does it make a difference by using a hollowpoint on a squirrel?

Ihave a 10/22 with the.920 barrel and thumb hole stock. It is very particular about brands of ammo.I think you will have beter luck with hollow points.Stay away from the hyper velocty stuff.I have had great luck with federal classics,But each one is different.Mine can go from one hole at 50 yrds to 1"depending on ammo.Have fun.
