Have any of y'all any experience with any of the powerchutes. I have been looking at them and am thinking of buying, and was looking for some opinions.

CORNHUSKER: Ride before you buy and becarefull of what yoyo you pick to introduce you to the sport. There are a lot of very safe and experienced operators out there but there are ten times as many that are selfproclaimed experts who can get you killed. Every time you leave the ground you risk serious injury or death. Flying them is fun but expensive in the end so get all the facts and some solo hours before you buy.
Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

The closest that I ever come to this was para-sailing, I thought that it would scare me but no fear, just one of the most peaceful feelings I have ever had. the 2nd and last time was what they called a stratosphere where I went to 800ft. over the ocean then they let me free fall to about 30ft. and took of again real fast in the boat and got me back up to 800 ft. The only thing that bothered me was the guys lit up a doobie just before launching me! But I think the guys are right about this deal you could sure get hurt!

Oto: Been to Olies several times, but has been a few years since the last visit. Heard they changed it alot.As far a paragliding I think that you have to use your head and don't do anything stupid, just like anything else. I know people that have been killed in planes, trains, & automibles, even with guns and eating too much. I have a house full of guns, eat too much, like to fly and even drive.ysacres: I have checked out several, Thought they would be great for checking cattle and fields. Guess they even have a sprayer for some of them. Kind of leaning towards Buckeye or Destiny. Thanks, Ron
